The 14th edition of the Parkland College “Dollars For Scholars Golf Classic” was a wet one, but yesterday’s rainy weather didn’t keep the 87 golfers taking part, from enjoying the day. The final total has yet to be determined, but Tournament Chair Brendan Wagner says that this year’s event raised between 14 and 15-thousand dollars for the college’s scholarship fund. He also says the provincial government supports the event as well, as depending on the budget, the province matches the money raised at the tournament.
