Some intense storms passed over parts of the region last night and into this morning.

Terry Lang at the weather office says the Saskatoon area got just under 5 mm of rain, but other areas got considerably more.

In addition to rain, there was hail.

Macklin received two bouts of hail with the biggest being golf ball sized.
