The second of four men arrested in connection with the shooting of an RCMP officer near Onanole last summer, has admitted his guilt.
In Brandon Provincial Court yesterday (Mon), 22-year-old Tommy Beaulieu pleaded guilty to four charges, and a pre-sentence report was ordered.
One of his co-accused, Therae Racette-Beaulieu, was sentenced to 18 years in prison on numerous charges earlier this year, including Attempted Murder.
Last August, Mounties responded to a report of a break-in at a rural property, when shots were fired.
It sparked a massive manhunt that ended the next day in Neepawa.
