Motorists are reminded that wildlife are moving more at night now and to slow down to help avoid collisions. This, after the Whitewood fire department was called to a collision between a vehicle and deer just east of the town about 7:30 last night. The occupants had been taken to a store in the town by a passing motorist, and there were no serious injuries. The deer, however, was killed.
