The City of Yorkton is once again handing out awards to local residents as part of the 2nd annual Civic Recognition Awards. Mayor Bob Maloney says the award represents a person who puts their community first. Three categories highlight this years awards, including a junior, senior and group category. Last year was the first year for the awards program, where the adult and junior categories were only offered.
