The Swan Valley Stampeders earned a split in their two games over the weekend.

The Stamps on Saturday came back from 3-0 down to defeat the Virden Oil Capitals 4-3 In the shootout.

Nathan Carl and Josh Maucieri had a goal and an assist each to lead the Stamps.

Then on Sunday, the Stamps fell on the road 2-1 to the Waywayseecappo Wolverines.

Mattias Dal Monte had the lone goal for Swan while the Wolverines’ got markers from newcomer Kris Bladen and the game winner from Conrad Phillips.

The Stamps will return to action on Wednesday when they host the Dauphin Kings. GX94 will broadcast the game with the pregame starting at 7:20 and the play by play kicking off at 7:30PM MB time.

Waywayseecappo will next be in action on Tuesday hosting the Selkirk Steelers.
