A Roblin RCMP officer facing several charges in connection with an alleged assault, was back in court yesterday (Thu).
Last December, the Roblin RCMP received a report from a third party that a woman may be the victim of an assault.
Following a lengthy investigation, an officer with the Roblin detachment was arrested on June 6th, in relation to off-duty incidents that occurred in 2017 and 2018.
Constable Jason Kitzul is charged with Assault, Assault with a Weapon, and Impaired Driving, and will make his next court appearance in Roblin on February 20th.
