Saskatchewan Spring Runoff Expected to be Below Average

Spring runoff shouldn’t be a problem for most areas of Saskatchewan this year.
Saskatchewan’s Water Security Agency has released its March spring runoff outlook.
Spokesperson Patrick Boyle says most of the province should see a below normal runoff this spring.
He says runoff is influenced by fall soil moisture, storage conditions, winter precipitation accumulations, and weather during the spring melt.
