SARM Annual Convention Underway in Regina

Grain movement backlog and the carbon tax will be among the issues raised at the SARM annual meeting this week in Regina.
President Ray Orb remains hopeful Ottawa will provide some form of support for farmers who faced a tough harvest and a costly carbon tax on fuel used for drying grain.
Orb says a grain movement backlog caused by rail blockades will also be a topic of discussion at the SARM annual meeting.
