Kindersley Klippers (SJHL) and Selkirk Steelers (MJHL) name new Head Coaches  

The SJHL’s Kindersley Klippers have announced their new bench boss.

50 year old Ken Plaquin was named the Head Coach by the hockey club this morning (Mon).

The Calgary product recently was the Head Coach of the Okotoks Midget AAA Oilers of the Alberta Midget AAA Hockey League

Plaquin takes over Larry Wintoneak who served as Interim Head Coach this past season

The MJHL’s Selkirk Steelers have announced Hudson Friesen as their new Head Coach & Asst. Director of Player Personnel.

Friesen spent this year with the Steelers’ as their Asst. Coach and Business Manager.

Also along with being the teams’ Head Scout, Melville-born Tim Schick was named the clubs Director of Player Personnel.

Back on March 6th, the Steelers announced they weren’t going to extend the contract of Head Coach Nick Lubimiv.
