An update on a report of a fire on Highway 5 west of Wadena yesterday.
An RCMP officer with the Wadena detachment said a semi was driving on the highway when one of its tires blew out, causing a grass fire near the community of Paswegin.
The fire spread to nearby bush but Wadena firefighters managed to get it under control.
Traffic on Highway 5 was restricted to one lane while crews were on scene.
