COVID-19 Update Monday  June 1
*A person in their 70’s in the far North is Saskatchewan’s 11th virus related death Sunday. 1 new case reported, totaling 646. 582 people have recovered, and there are 53 active cases.
*The Saskatchewan Health Authority is advising people in the North Battleford area of a possible transmission of COVID-19. A person who tested positive visited the Walmart May 21st.
*1 new case in Manitoba Sunday, for a total of 295. 278 people have recovered, there are 10 active cases and 7 deaths.
*Today marks the start of the next phase of Manitoba’s reopening plan, with more COVID-19 restrictions being eased.

Included is the reopening of restaurant dine-in services, gyms and fitness centres, outdoor events, seniors centres and personal service businesses.
*As of yesterday, there were 90,947 cases in Canada, with 7,295 deaths and 48,879 recoveries.
*In the U.S Sunday, there were 1.8 million cases, 106,000 deaths and 400,000 recoveries.
*Worldwide, there were 6.1 million cases, 372,000 deaths and 2.5 million recoveries.
