Capital region RCMP have updated an incident last night where a man driving a truck with Manitoba plates crashed into a barricade at Rideau Hall, then walked the grounds armed with several weapons before surrendering.
46-year-old Corey Hurren of Bowsman is facing 22 criminal charges in relation to the possession and transportation of firearms, as well as other criminal code charges.
Hurren is being held in custody till his next court appearance on July 17th in Ottawa.
