Winnipeg will be the hub city for the C-F-L’s shortened 2020 season if the league reaches several goals.

The C-F-L chose Winnipeg over bids from Calgary and Saskatchewan yesterday.

The deal still needs final approval from public health and safety officials in Manitoba.

If the season goes ahead, players and coaches would be in a bubble consisting of hotels, practice fields and a stadium.
