RCMP in The Pas, acting on a tip from the Canadian Border Service Agency, intercepted a firearm silencer being smuggled into Canada. Search warrants at a home there earlier this month resulted in police seizing 2 handguns, 2 long guns, 8 silencers, two 3-D printers, ammunition and parts to make firearms. 49 year old Patsy Shawaga and 49 year old Trent Swanson have been arrested.
