The Waywayseecappo Wolverines’ scored two late 3rd period goals by Russell, MB’s Tyson Zimmer and 20 year old newcomer Mack Belinski to tie it up but they eventual fell 3-2 in overtime in Virden to kick-off their 2020 MJHL Preseason schedule.

Colin Cook scored the OT winner for the Oil Caps who got singles from Josh Belcher and Owen Blocker.

Liam Tereposky (19 saves on 20 shots) and Nathan Falloon (17 saves on 19 shots) split the goaltending duties for Wayway.

The Wolverines continue their preseason on Friday when they visit Neepawa at 7:30PM MB time.
