The Yorkton fire department is reminding people to have your dryer vent cleaned regularly.

A house fire on Matheson Crescent in Heritage Heights this past weekend caused extensive damage after starting in a vent.

Fire chief Trevor Morrissey says flames did get into the wall in the early Sunday morning blaze, but no one was hurt.
