Premier Brian Pallister says next week’s provincial budget will continue to move forward on measures aimed at making life more affordable for Manitobans.

To that end, Pallister says Budget 2021 will include the removal of the Provincial Sales Tax on personal services such as haircuts and salon services.

Pallister also says the province will begin the process of eliminating education property taxes.

School divisions will freeze their education property taxes this year, and the province will provide an offset grant in 2021, to ensure school funding levels are maintained.

Manitoba Budget Day is April 7.
