Age eligibility for the provincial COVID-19 vaccine booking system will be expanding to individuals 55-years-old and over, starting this morning (Fri) at 8 a.m.
Eligible residents in this age group can make an appointment online at www.saskatchewan.ca/covid19-vaccine, or by phoning 1-833-727-5829.
Also, eligible, but can only book an appointment by phone, are all individuals 50 years of age and older living in the Northern Saskatchewan Administration District, all remaining phase one health care workers, group homes and shelters and people with underlying health conditions who are clinically extremely vulnerable through an eligibility letter.
Health officials also noted for those 55-and-older, drive-thru and walk-in vaccine clinics are available at various locations around the province.
The wait time at the Yorkton drive-thru vaccine site, at the St. Mary’s Cultural Centre parking lot, is currently between 0-15 minutes.
