Another vaccination milestone has been reached in Manitoba.
Just under 285-thousand Manitobans have received their first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, which represents more than 20% of the province’s adult population.
The largest vaccination campaign in Manitoba’s history has seen super sites set up in Winnipeg, Selkirk, Brandon, Morden and Thompson, with additional locations set to open in the coming weeks.
However, even with the ramp up in vaccinations in the province, Manitobans are reminded to follow all the public health measures, especially with the threat of a third wave of the pandemic.
