A complaint of an assault on Saturday that left the victim with significant injuries has lead to a search for the suspect.

Fort Qu’Appelle RCMP are looking for Colton Bear, who was last seen at a home on the Standing Buffalo Dakota First Nation.

He is 5-foot 9, 165 pounds with black hair and brown eyes, and is believed to be in Fort Qu’Appelle or the Standing Buffalo Dakota First Nation.

Bear is charged with numerous offences, including assault causing bodily harm, uttering threats, failure to comply with his release and failure to attend court, and theft of a motor vehicle, which Mounties note the vehicle has since been recovered.

If anyone knows his whereabouts, do not approach him, but call the RCMP or dial 911.
