A theft investigation in the Porcupine Plain area had a dam good ending.

On May 7th, Porcupine Plain RCMP received a complaint about the theft of some fence posts from a rural property.

The capers were quickly uncovered when the stolen posts were found in a beaver dam on a nearby waterway.

According to the officers, a beaver or beavers responsible were gone on arrival.

None of the bucktoothed bandits will face charges and the RCMP has now closed this extremely Canadian case.
