The Moosomin Minor Hockey Association was named the Saskatchewan Hockey Association’s Minor Hockey Association of the Year.
Before the start of the 2019/20 season, the organization sought out sponsorship to assist with renovations of dressing rooms at the local rink and the installation of a new score clock.
During the height of the pandemic’s restrictions, MMHA and the town cut ice rates in half for the remainder of the season to encourage hockey teams to continue to remain on the ice.
Thanks to the dedication of the association, a complete season of two practices per week per team was achieved right up to the end of the season on March 1st.
