The Edmonton Oilers have traded defenceman Ethan Bear to the Carolina Hurricanes for forward Warren Foegele.

The product of the Ochapowace First Nation  is coming off his second season as a full-time NHLer with the Oilers.

During the 2021 season, he had 2 goals and 8 points in 43 games.
