A new court date has been set for a Brandon man, charged in connection with a violent incident in Russell.
Russell RCMP were called in June of 2019, to a report of a 56-year-old man being assaulted, threatened, and having some of his belongings stolen.
While officers were on scene, the suspect returned, and resisted arrest, so Mounties had to use a taser to subdue him.
The suspect also caused damage to the Russell RCMP cell block.
41-year-old Michael Man faces numerous charges, and will appear in Rossburn Provincial Court on September 15th.
