Manitoba’s Independent Investigation Unit is looking into an alledged assault involving an off-duty RCMP officer. On September 11th, Wasagaming RCMP responded to a report of an assault at a nearby residence. Mounties determined that the person was assaulted by an off-duty police officer from the Winkler Police Service, and was taken to Minnedosa Hospital for treatment.
