Health Canada has given Pfizer approval for the first oral treatment for COVID-19. Paxlovid is a combination of 2 prescription drugs, which can be taken at home, twice a day over a 5 day period. Federal officials are working of securing 1 million initial doses, and are working on a delivery schedule.
