A man facing numerous charges after a hostage situation at St. Anthony’s Hospital in The Pas late last year, has a new court date.

On November 26th, Mounties were called to the hospital following a report of an agitated man with a weapon holding a hospital employee against their will.

When officers arrived, the man fled on foot, and was quickly arrested.

21-year-old Keewatin Lachose, of The Pas faces several charges including Assault with a Weapon and Armed Robbery, and he remains in custody, with his next appearance set for next Monday (7th).
