A first court appearance has been made by a man who was the subject of a Canada-wide arrest warrant.
52-year-old Michael Gordon Jackson is facing the charge of abduction in contravention of custody or parenting order, for the alleged abduction of his 7-year-old daughter.
The arrest warrant was issued on January 21st, then last Thursday (Feb 24) in Vernon B.C. police located the girl and Jackson, who was arrested without incident.
Jackson appeared in Regina Provincial Court today (Tues), and remains in custody for a bail hearing on Thursday.
