An Edmonton Man Had His Charges Stayed After A Traffic Stop In Sask.

An Edmonton man facing numerous drug related charges after a summertime traffic stop near Wolseley is off the hook. On July 16th, RCMP clocked a vehicle on the Trans-Canada Highway travelling at 164 kilometres an hour. After pulling the vehicle over, a subsequent search turned up illegal cigarettes, 31 grams of cocaine and about 140-thousand dollars in cash. 4-year-old Jeffrey Weitzel was back in Indian Head Court yesterday, on charges including Possession of a Controlled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking, and the charges against him were stayed by the Crown.
