Two people charged following a drug and firearms bust in Kisbey last November, were back in Carlyle Provincial Court last week. Mounties searched a home, seizing a stolen firearm, 52 grams of cocaine, and an undisclosed amount of cash. 27-year-old Jordan Desjarlais and 21-year-old Demetrius Standingready were in Carlyle last Wednesday, and will return to court on March 23rd, along with their co-accused, 21-year-old Kiera Shingoose, of Kisbey. Desjarlais and Standingready are also charged in connection with a separate pair of incidents last July on neighbouring First Nations.
