A large number of recoveries from COVID-19 were reported in Manitoba.

1,930 recoveries were recorded, along with 247 new cases of the virus, leaving 4,213 active cases, including 670 in the Prairie Mountain Health region.

Hospitalizations jumped by 61 to 395, while ICU admissions went up by four to 17.

Manitoba also reported two more deaths due to COVID-19, bringing the provincial total to 1,723.
