Another court appearance for a man from the R.M. of Kelsey, charged following an alleged assault.

On November 20th, Mounties were called to a home in the R.M. of Kelsey, where they were advised that a suspect was inside the home with other adults and children and possessed a firearm.

The victim of the alleged assault, a 21-year-old woman was located outside the home and was treated for minor injuries by emergency personnel, while the suspect exited the home and was arrested without incident, after several hours of negotiating with police, who seized a firearm and ammunition.

The accused, 44-year-old Jeremy Cook, faces several charges, and will be back in The Pas Court on April 26th.
