A musical is coming soon to the Yorkton Regional High School’s Anne Portnuff Theatre.

The Dr. Brass Performing Arts Academy will be performing an adaptation of the musical “Newsies” on Tuesday, June 7 at 7 p.m. at the Theatre.

Performing Arts Teacher with Dr. Brass School Tammy Kostersky explained “Newsies” is based on real events and set in 1899 New York, focusing on children as they fought against child labour and for their rights as human beings.
