Saskatchewan RCMP have confirmed that one person is dead, following a shooting early this (FRI) morning in Langham, northwest of Saskatoon.

A Dangerous Person Alert has been issued for the suspect, identified as Justin Heimbecker. He is described as being 6’3″ tall, with brown eyes.

He was last seen on foot, and is believed to be armed, and at this time, it is unknown where he is, or if he has access to a vehicle.

At this time, Mounties are advising residents of the Langham area to stay inside, close and lock doors and windows, avoid picking up hitchhikers, and to not reveal police locations.
