Another update in the search for a wanted man following a fatal shooting in Langham early this morning (Fri).

Saskatchewan RCMP say a man was located deceased inside a home in Langham around 11:40 a.m.

RCMP say the home was on fire earlier in the day and the deceased person is believed to be the suspect, Justin Heimbecker, however this cannot be confirmed at this time.

RCMP Major Crime Services is in the early stages of the investigation, so more information can’t be provided at this time.

One person was confirmed dead by RCMP as a result of the shooting. Heimbecker was the subject of a Dangerous Person Alert, but that was cancelled at around noon since RCMP believed there was no further risk to public safety.
