Protective Services Medals Are Being Handed Out In Regina

Saskatchewan protective services personnel marking a milestone this year are receiving a special honour today in Regina. Lieutenant-Governor Russ Mirasty and Provincial Secretary Tim McLeod will present the Saskatchewan Protective Services Medal a new group of recipients. The medal recognizes those who have provided 25 years or more of exemplary work in the field of protective services, including RCMP and police officers, and Canadian Armed Forces members. A total of 113 individuals from cities and rural communities across the province are receiving the honour this year, with two medal ceremonies held last week in Saskatoon.
