A White Bear First Nation man is facing assault charges after an incident on the reserve last week.
On October 5th, Carlyle RCMP responded to an open line 911 call at a residence on the White Bear First Nation, where they located a male with serious injuries.
The investigation determined that an altercation occurred between him and another male, and after a search of the area, Mounties located the suspect hiding in some bushes near the home.
21-year-old Keenan Lonechild is charged with Assault with a Weapon and Assault Causing Bodily Harm, and he will appear in Carlyle Provincial Court on October 26th.
