2 different fires and an explosion at a Yorkton apartment building on Riverview and Ashwood saw crews respond. Fire chief Trevor Morrissey says there was a large explosion on the 2nd floor of the building this morning, which caused minor injuries to 2 firefighters. Fire crews were called to the same location for another fire last night, and Morrissey says they had to rescue several people from their balconies. He also says it appears someone broke into a unit before this mornings blaze.
