Western Canada is home to 72 new millionaires.

A news release from Sask. Lotteries, looking back at 2022, shows a total over $319-million dollars won – the second-highest total ever in the region.

Manitoba welcomed 9 new millionaires this year, Saskatchewan 13, Alberta 49, and even one in Nunavut, in Rankin Inlet, who won $7-million.

Of the 13 new millionaires in Saskatchewan, one is from Grenfell, one here in Yorkton, and one in Langenburg. A Regina resident won a record $70-million this year.
