Saskatchewan Continues To See Strong Economic Growth

Between January of last year and January of this year, Saskatchewan’s economy showed signs of strong economic growth, when it comes to wholesale trade.

New figures released by Statistics Canada, showing total value of wholesale trade in Saskatchewan in January was 4.9 billion dollars, and that between February of 2022 and last month, the province saw the second-highest jump in the nation, with wholesale trade increasing 48.3 per cent during that period.

Other economic indicators also showed strong growth in the province, including an increase in investment in building construction, which rose 21.5 per cent, between January of last year and January of this year.
