Manitoba’s minimum wage will increase twice this year to above 15-dollars an hour.
The first increase to $14.15 will take effect on April 1st, then the second bump to $15.30 will take effect October 1st.
Manitoba Labour Minister Jon Reyes says this phased-in approach will help Manitobans get ahead of the high costs of living.
As of October 1st, 2022, Manitoba’s minimum wage is $13.50.
