A Pine Creek First Nation man has has stood trial in connection with a shooting incident in June of 2021.

25-year-old Jericho Flatfoot was arrested, and charged with Assault with a Weapon and Aggravated Assault, as well as numerous firearm offences.

He’s been remanded in custody for the judge’s decision in Dauphin on April 24th.

Police say a 22-year-old man suffered a gunshot wound to his hand, but didn’t report the incident to police, and didn’t have the injury treated in hospital.
