A Balcarres man, convicted in connection with a firearm offence at a Regina home last year has learned his fate.

In Regina yesterday (WED), 31-year-old Brett Bellegarde received a six-month conditional sentence, and a ten-year firearm ban.

On March 28, 2022, police responded to a call, where a group of masked suspects, allegedly armed with a firearm, attempted to rob a man.

The suspects left in a vehicle, but were located, and a search revealed a firearm and a substance believed to be crystal meth.
