A new court date has been set for a man arrested following an assault on the White Bear First Nation.
On October 5th, Carlyle RCMP responded to a 911 call at a home on the reserve, where they found a man with serious injuries.
The investigation determined that an altercation occurred between him and another man, and after a search of the area, Mounties located the suspect hiding in some bushes.
21-year-old Keenan Lonechild, of the White Bear First Nation remains in custody, to appear in Yorkton next Tuesday.
