Manitoba is praising its ongoing health human resource action plan’s recruitment efforts.
With a goal of adding 2-thousand more health-care providers to Manitoba’s health-care system, Health Minister Audrey Gordon announced that nearly 900 new hires have been added to the system.
This includes 82 allied-health providers, 32 physician and clinical assistants, 438 health-care aides, 259 nurses and 73 physicians.
Regulatory bodies, such as the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba, continues work on newcomer integration and recruitment initiatives for internationally educated nurses and doctors to help grow the workforce.
