SaskEnergy has announced that they have removed the interim tag from acting President and Chief Executive Officer Mark Guillet, formally appointing him to the role following a nationwide search.

Guillet has been with the provincial gas company since 1990, when he joined SaskEnergy’s legal department, before becoming General Counsel and Corporate secretary five years later.

Finally in 2020, Guillet added the roles of Executive Vice President of Stakeholder Engagement, Chief Legal Officer, and Chief Privacy Officer to his portfolio, giving him a wide range of responsibilities and experience.

He had been serving as SaskEnergy’s acting president and CEO since February of 2022.
