A youth has been charged in connection with a suspicious death south of Stockholm and Esterhazy.

On February 10th, RCMP were called to a home, where three males broke in and stole electronics, firearms, a significant amount of ammunition, and the home owner’s vehicle which was later found burned a short distance away.

Upon arrival, officers found a deceased male and an injured female.

A 17-year-old male from a community in north-central Manitoba was arrested and he faces several charges including First Degree Murder, Attempted Murder and Robbery with a Firearm.

He will appear in Yorkton Provincial Court, tomorrow.
