The Saskatchewan Roughriders snapped their three game losing streak in thrilling fashion on Sunday night.
Brett Lauther’s (pictured) 54-yard field goal with 26 seconds left in the game leading the Saskatchewan Roughriders to a 26-24 victory over the Ottawa Redblacks at Mosaic Stadium.
The victory improves the Green and White’s record to 4-4, while the RedBlacks now sit at 3-5.
The victory also marked the first win as a starting quarterback for Mason Fine, who took over the reins of the Saskatchewan offence after Trevor Harris suffered a tibial plateau fracture of his right knee on July 15 against the Calgary Stampeders.
The next game for the Saskatchewan Roughriders will be Friday night visiting the Montreal Alouettes. GX94 will broadcast the game with the pregame show starting at 4:30PM and the play by play kicking off at 5:30PM SK time with Cooperators Roughriders football
