Jail Time for Woman charged in Saltcoats Drug Bust

A new development in the case of two people facing numerous charges, including Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking, in connection with a drug bust in Saltcoats on January 19th.

Regina Police were investigating illegal drug trafficking in the city and surrounding areas, leading to officers searching a Saltcoats home, finding over 820 grams of fentanyl, 3.2 kilograms of methamphetamine, along with of cocaine and cash and drug paraphernalia.

On September 7th, 41-year-old Crystal Ford received a ten year jail sentence, after pleading guilty to several charges, including Possession of Meth and Fentanyl for the Purpose of Trafficking, and with credit for time served she’ll spend almost nine more years behind bars.

Her co-accused, 42-year-old Scott Flaman, was also in court last Thursday, and all charges against him were stayed by the Crown.
